The program, financially supported by the SAME Foundation, provides vital training to 20 creative mid-career members of SAME to develop them as the next generation of military, government and industry leaders.

Kallenberger started with Black & Veatch as a high school student and later as a college intern before joining the company’s federal service sector full-time. With five years of experience in the architecture, engineering and construction (A / E / C) space, Kallenberger was chosen from a field of 45 national candidates for a one-year program dedicated to supporting the mission and strategic direction of SAME.

In his current role, Kallenberger has served as the chief mechanical engineer on numerous federal projects managed for the US Army Corp of Engineers (USACE) and other Department of Defense agencies. As a Chief Mechanical Project Engineer, his responsibilities include managing the project work for his team, providing technical guidance for HVAC, mechanical, plumbing and fire systems design layout, and performance modeling. of these systems.
